Editing for Journalism

This role will report to the Chief Sub-Editor and will work within the Editorial team across all digital content from fashion features to social copy. This is the ideal role for a true wordsmith with a forward thinking approach to digital journalism. The Deputy Chief Sub-Editor will work closely with the News and Features desk, supporting the Chief Sub in managing workflow; proofing copy, checking for spelling, grammar and factual accuracy; and ensuring external commissions are filed on deadline. The sub will also copy edit and rework articles to ensure they are optimised for the end platform or content type onsite, video and social media: instagram, snapchat, facebook etc ; and localise content for specific markets and cultures in English as required.
